Maybe It's Time for a New Toaster...

So this morning, Hank went to toast a Pop Tart, but it seems that our toaster is broken.  Once it was finished toasting, it never popped the toast up!  So it just sat there and kept toasting as Hank was doing something else in another room.  It was about to catch on fire when he came back in.  When I woke up, the whole house was filled with the thickest smoke!  The Pop Tart was so burned it was almost have its original size!  I think that we were seconds away from actual flames.  Here is what's left...

Todays Study Topic...

The heart!  My test is coming up this Thursday in Anatomy and Physiology (A&P).  This test also has the blood and blood vessels, veins, arteries, and lots of the like.  The last few weeks we have been doing blood typing, blood slides, and our hematocrit in the lab.  The lab is my favorite part of A&P.  Its more of the hands-on fun stuff.  My instructor could tell that I had a cold, had taken some pain killer (which was only Motrin), and that I had some allergies, all from my blood slide!  She is so cool!

My poor, poor blog!  I have been so preoccupied doing other things I had almost forgotten you altogether!  I started college.  I officially started last fall, and I 'm applying to a registered nursing program for the fall 2016 semester.  I know that things will be really crazy, but I think that nursing is what God wants me to do.  Right now I am in Anatomy and Physiology II, Microbiology, Life Fitness Concepts, and General Psychology.  The hardest so far is probably Anatomy and Physiology II, but I have the most amazing instructor every, as well as a study group, so that makes a big difference.
  My older sister is now engaged!  That is exciting, and we all really like him!  We call him Jasper, or Jaz-bo.  (Although what we call him changes every few minutes!)  He is a band director, looks Italian, is a Christian, and has a beard.  What more can you ask for?!  :)
  My dog Reagan is doing pretty well.  She has seizures occasionally, but I think that we have them under control for now without any medicine.  She was having some allergies, but they are also better with some medicine that the vet gave us.
  I am now 19, but I am turning 20 this summer.  I really don't feel old.  Inside I feel like I should still be 16!  How can I be old enough to drive and go to college!?  The only big thing that has happened to me in the last while is last summer I had all four of my wisdom teeth taken out.  That was NOT fun at all!!!  :'(  I'm so glad that I never have to do that again!
  My older brother Hank is courting a young lady named K. B.  We all love her.  She is kind, sweet, and caring.  And most of all they both seem to make each other very happy!  They enjoy spending time at each others families houses, and reading the Bible together.  She also has a large family that lives on a farm.

  So there is a short catch-up post, I really do hope to be posting now, even if they are just short.  I hope that everyone is having a great weekend!
