Giving Thanks.

I had a positively wonderful Thanks Giving!  We had some friends and family over and had the biggest lunch ever!!  We have so many left overs!!  Our fridge is just stuffed!  We all gathered around our large table that was really only meant to hold eight.  After we had eaten we all had to say what we were thankful for before we could eat our desert.  I said that I was thankful that we could home school.  That is something that I feel so happy to be able to do.  I have so many other blessings but that is one that I can be reminded of every day!  Something that I want to get better at is counting my blessings on a daily basis.  So often I find that even in my prayers I ask God for more things than I thank him for.  That is what I hope to work on in the next year, so by next Thanks Giving, giving thanks to God will be the main part of my prayers.  I do know that God is so good that he listens to me as I ask him for all these things and he never gets tired of hearing my requests!  So on that note, here are some random pictures of my Thanks Giving.

My Saturday.

My Saturday started out with some of Harris's wonderful pancakes!  He was so sweet and made me a special chocolate one.  :)   Yummmmm...  He recently found out his favorite way to stir them.  He attached a cordless drill to his wooden spoon!  He finds it greatly amusing.

 And then came a little dish washer repair.  They look more like they are just laying there to me!  Shhhh...  We won't tell!

Then came cleaning out the refrigerator.  :P

I would have taken a picture of Hattie put she is visiting my Mumsy for a few days.  Miss you, Hat!

Then I made some corn bread and reheated some chili for a late lunch.

It may look bad put it sure tasted good!

And because when Hattie left to visit Mumsy for a while she took Lilly, I miss her terribly.  So I couldn't resist putting a cute little picture of her!  She always finds the funniest ways to sleep.   <3

   

Happy Happy Birthday From all of Us to YOU!!!!!

Happy Birthday to my super awesome big brother, Hank!!!  Hank turned 18 yesterday!  How did he get that old???  I absolutely think that he is the best big brother in the world!  You are so cool and amazing.  You are always there when I need you and you are the only one that will enter my secret clubs.  ;)  You have always listened to me when I needed to vent, and you always tell me the truth about my stupid ideas.  You will lead when others would only follow.  You will stick up for what's right no matter what the situation is.  You are constantly looking for the positive in things even when there doesn't seem to be much.  You're a great dance partner.  And your hair is so cool!  I love the way you will scheme with me about silly things in the future.  You are always looking out for me no matter where we are.  You make me feel included in all the cool stuff.  And to top it all off, you are really, really smart.  P.S.  Nice telescope.

And no, his hair is not normally like that.  ;)
