hey over here,

hello, i'm rebekah, har's best friend, and at the moment i'm hacking into her accounts and creating new one accounts!  since the rumor on the blog's are that google friend connect is vanishing into thin air, i thought i would hack into her blog to create her a bloglovin' account so tomorrow she can post instead of signing up for bloglovin' (hint! hint!).

what is bloglovin'?  its a website where you can follow the blogs you love (like this one!) instead of using google friends connect!

No, I'm not dead.

As much as you all would like to think that I'm dead, I'm not!  I had almost forgotten about posting until today when I decided that it was high time.  Nothing unusual has been happening.  Mamaw is not too well. She's not able to stand up by herself now.  She has these mini-strokes that continue to leave her a little worse than the last one.  The doctor says its fine, she's been on the medicine for T.I.A.'s for years.  We got a lift, which has come in very handy!  She even needs to wear a diaper most of the time now.  She is taking up even more time that she used to, so school is harder to find time for.  But if I work hard I can do it all.
Hattie is going to college now to get her master's degree in Public History.  She is staying with Mumsy during the week.  She's having a good time and is doing very well.

I bought my first rent house last December.  It's actually a trailer house and a small house next door.  I have renters there now and all seems to be going smoothly.  We are doing some quick remodeling which should be over soon.

Everyone is enjoying the great weather.  We have started to get into the 70 degree days now, but sooner than you think we will be up to 107!  I sometimes wish that it would stay fall, winter, and spring for ever and always skip over summer.  But then again, fresh garden veggies are tempting!
