Hi Everyone!

Not much to blog about right now.  But I am reading a really, really good book.  It is called "Farewell to Manzanar".  It is sooo interesting.  And sad.  Sad to hear what those people had to go through.  It is written from the view of a seven year old girl who was really in the internment camp with her family.  The way she looks at things is really cool.  It is not your normal history book.  It is filled with personal experience.  You should really get a copy and read it.  Such a neat book.

Things to Bring You Up-to-Date.

1. It is now my wish to get back to blogging regularly.
2. We had a super great Christmas!!
3. For the first time in my life I am really happy to see a year gone.  I believe that every moment that I have left is a wonderful gift from God.  It should be special and treated like it was your last.  Regrettably, I did not do that with last year.  It was not the best year so far in my life for many reasons but never the less, I am trying to learn to thank God instead of wish that 2011 had never been.
4. I've started biking more and it's a blast!
5. True friends are really awesome, a truly great gift from God to be with you in the hard times and the fun ones.
6. Me, Nikki, Reba, and Hattie have started a book club.
7. I started a different math book.  I was doing Abeka math but now I am doing Teaching Text Books.
8. I took swing dance lessons, and had a blast!
9. As you probably already know I bought myself an iPod touch 64G last year and it is soooo cool!!  I would recommend it to any one.
10. We went to a concert this week and it was so much fun!!!!!  It had Andrew Peterson, Josh Wilson, and Stephen Curtis Chapman.  They were all great but Andrew Peterson was the best!  But Josh Wilson is crazy good on the guitar.
11. We got our first snow yesterday!!  It was about an inch thick.  Maybe an inch and a half.  We had a blast sledding!  I was going to take some pictures but I got to carried away sledding!  We had a blast!  Thank you God for the little bit of snow that we do get every year.

1. I'm not as tough as I thought I was, in many ways.

2. Cherish the loved ones you have because some day they won't be there and all you will have is the memories to cherish.
3. Puppies are a LOT of work but if you will just stick with it, it will end up being worth it.
4. It helps to share your feelings sometimes.
5. Concerts are awesome!!
6. Drawing is fun.
7. Worshiping God through songs is amazing!
8. Wishing for what you don't have helps NOTHING!
9. Being thankful for what you do have is sometimes hard, but always worth it in the end.
10. God really, really does care about the smallest of things in our lives.  (I already knew this but last year really helped to drive it home.
11. Mom is a really good cook.
12. Casseroles are definately the coolest things to eat.
13. Luke is my favorite gospel.
14. Ceiling fans rock!
15. Hot berry tea is delicious!!
16. "A Year Down Yonder" by Richard Peck is super funny!!  Definately worth the reading time.
17. Onions are delicious.
18 Contacts are waaaayyyyy better than glasses.
19. Reading through the Bible takes a long time!
20. Swing dancing is a blast!!!!
