Yeah, I know. Another day passed that I missed. But it is only two days until Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!! *happy* Today's verse, and the one from yesterday, is Luke chapter two verses seventeen and eighteen. "And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child. And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds."

Christmas Count Down!
Yes yes, I know. I missed several days. I am a horrible blogger. With that established, let's get to what really matters. It's only four days until Christmas!!!!!!!!!! So soon? How did it sneek up like that? I don't even feel properly in the Christmas mood yet! But I guess that I can work on that by listening to MORE Christmas music! I do so ever much love Christmas music. :D Today's verse, and the ones that I missed by not blogging, are Luke chapter two verses, twelve, thirteen, fourteen, fifteen, and sixteen. "And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the lord hath made known unto us. And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

Decorating!
Last week we had our official Decorate-the-House Day. It was a BLAST! I look forward to that day all year! We turn on Bing Crosby really, really loud and we all run around the house singing like idiots and decorating! Sounds fun right?! :D Here are some pictures I snapped really quickly while I was running around singing and throwing up Christmas stuff.
Hattie, looking beautiful in her Christmas sweater.
Mamaw, enjoying some hot chocolate.
He wouldn't smile again! The crazy guy smiles all the time but when I go to take a picture of him, he frowns. I think that he's messing with me for fun!
I did catch him smiling once though!

Our stockings, "hung on the chimney with care..."
Lilly, all wrapped up in her Christmas blanket. How sweet!
Yeah, she likes Christmas. :P
He wanted inside to help decorate for Christmas, too.
The stocking on the end is Lilly's. Just in case you thought we had another kid. ;)
That's how Lilly helps decorate.
If you can see the picture, it is of my grandmother when she was a little girl sitting in "Santa's" lap.
Lilly was still in the Christmas mood. :D
I hope that you all are having a wonderful Saturday filled with lots and lots of Christmas cheer!

Sometimes Seeing Your Christmas Present Early is a Good Thing.
Daddy got to see his Christmas present early this year. And that does not mean that he snuck into the attic and peeked into a box that was forbidden. Not at all. This year his present could not wait to see him!! This year he got a little puppy! For who knows how long, Daddy has wanted a Border Collie. Not only to herd cows, but to be a companion. Years ago Dad did not want an inside dog. But Hattie while growing up wanted one sooooo badly. So eventually Dad gave in and said that Hattie could pick out a dog. So off we went to the pound to find the perfect little puppy waiting for us, Lilly. So through the years, Dad has become VERY attached to Lilly! The bigger they are the harder they fall I say. ;) So for a long time now Dad has been wanting a Border Collie. He never asked for one. But he would all the time be looking up stuff about them and talking about a friend of ours that had one and how loyal his was. It was funny to watch him talk about Border Collies. He would end up grinning like a kid in a candy shop! So we decided that this year we would do something big for him. And there was no doubt what that big present would be! We had been looking at this one guy's puppies but when Mom called him back to talk to him some more he said that he only had one left! So mom said the she would take it. On Thursday we went to get it and almost instantly we knew that it was the right one for us. We did not have a good way to keep it a secret until Christmas so we just gave it to him Thursday afternoon when we got home from getting it. We were so sure on what name we thought was the best, that we named it and got it a tag for its collar before Daddy even saw it! Her name is Reagan. Can you guess who was Dad's favorite president? ;)
So without further ado, here are some pictures of Reagan.

Is that not so cute?! She just fell asleep half under the bed and half out and slept like that for a while. Until she came to for a second and realized that Dad was sitting at his desk.
So she moved to sit by him. How sweet!
Merry Christmas, Daddy!
