Isaiah 6
This is one of my father's favorite chapters, and it quckly became mine too.
1In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
2Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
3And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
4And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the house was filled with smoke.
5Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
6Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand, which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
7And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this hath touched thy lips; and thine iniquity is taken away, and thy sin purged.
8Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
9And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
11Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
12And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking in the midst of the land.
13But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten: as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.

Cook Day!!
I have been having the best few days lately. For years now we have had some friends that come over twice a year and for about two days the moms cook and freeze meals while all of the children play. That is called Cook Day. The moms cook and freeze, on average, about 100 meals. They then divide them up so that when they do not feel like cooking they can just pop out a bag of frozen chicken spaghetti, jambalaya, bar-b-que, etc...... We have sooo much fun!! The older kids stay up until about 2:30 to 5:00 every night. We play cards, watch movies, play board games, and most of all laugh! They are Joseph's family, the guy that I rode Wild Fire with. They have a large family like we do. There is the mom and dad, then going from oldest to yongest children there is: Caleb, Jared, Joseph, Matthew, and Abby. Caleb is about Hattie's age, Jared is about Hank's age, Joseph is about my age, and Matthew is about Harris's age. Is that not weird? We all have a LOT of fun playing together and we can not stand it when Cook Day is over. We always do the most random and crazy things!! We once went " pasture surfing". That means that you take an atv and attach a snow sled to it and pull people around at a high rate of speed and try to get each-other knocked off. We all came out from that moaning and groaning. Our moms don't let us do that anymore! Although we did have a bunch of fun. This time Hank and Jared took their wooden swords and decided to do a choreographed sword fight. The wooden swords that they used were home-made. Jared, Hank, and Joseph made Jared's sword and Hank and I made Hank's. They only practiced for about thirty minutes and took 21 takes before they finally got the desired shot. Joseph was the camera man. Me, Harris, Matthew, and Abby were the crowd. We had a great time. Here is the finished result.
Hank is the one in the black shirt and Jared is the one in the white shirt. I will post more videos later but it seems that our internet is rather slow right now.

Me and Joseph.
This picture was taken last May. My friend Joseph and I had just finished riding one of the biggest rides at Silver Dollar City in Branson, Missouri. It is called Wild Fire, and we rode it about nineteen times in two days. So, of course, we had to get t-shirts to commemorate that special occasion.
That is part of the track on Wild Fire.
Hehe!!
This just makes me laugh! It is from the movie The Princess Bride. If you have not seen it you really should. It is sooo funny! (This really will not be that funny if you have not seen the movie.)
Here are some pictures from the movie.

Please Pray.
Could everyone pray for my grandma. She has cancer in her colon that has spread to many other places in her body. She is such a wonderful Christian woman and no one has to guess where she is going when she dies. That is a blessing for sure. She has already lived longer than the doctors expected her to and has done very well with the chemo. She has had no pain, but is now not feeling as well as she had been. She has lost her hair for the second time but never complains one bit about anything, but thanks God for what she does have. She is coming up for a visit for the week and enjoys sitting on the front porch and watching the cows, and looking at the beautiful world that God has given us to live in. She has tons of old stories that she loves to share about our ancestors, and has many old things that were once theirs. We enjoy praying together and talking about heaven and how wonderful it will be when my family will come shortly to stay with her there. More people should be like my grandma.

Revival!
I just got back from the most spirit filled revival that I have ever been to. I could really feel the Holy Spirit moving in the church. It was so cool! The preacher at whose church the revival was held has a son that I would like everyone to pray for. Not long ago this young boy was told that he had a very, very aggressive cancer. Through many prayers and the working of the amazing God that we serve, he is on the road to recovery. Your prayers would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah, and one more thing, my best friend Nikki just started a blog. Here it is. http://steppinheavinward.blogspot.com/2011/04/10-randome-things-about-me.html?showComment=1302058043111#c7495563820397395861
