Trip!!

Several weeks ago, Hank, Mumsy, and our friend Mrs. Linda, and I went on a trip together.  The main purpose was to use Hank's telescope, named Dr. Lisle, where the skies would be even darker than at our house.  We went to the middle of nowhere in New Mexico.  It was a blast!  We stayed at a place called Ghost Ranch, where Georgia O'Keeffe often painted.  The sky was beautiful except when it was raining.  Whitch happened to be two out of the four nights that we were there.  But we didn't really care!  We were to busy having fun doing other things as well.  We went to Santa Fe and walked around in the plaza and ate at a deliceous place called The Shed.  We also walked the square at Taos and got some coffee at World Cup.  Really good coffee, by the way!  Then we went to the Los Alamos museum.  But, my favorite part had to be Ghost Ranch.  Our room was old and had no air conditioning.  It was one room with a closet on one side.  The community  bathrooms were down the sidewalk several doors away.  There was a little lock on the door but we didn't have a key so we could only lock it when we were in the room.  And the mess hall was about a quarter mile away.  I wish I could live there!  It was wonderful!  I took about 1,500 pictures but, you're welcome, I will only post a few here.   :)

Happy Birthday, Reba!!!!!

Reba, you are an inspiring friend, and Christian.  You, of course, make me laugh!  Your constant smile brightens every room you enter.  I love to play or watch movies with you, and no matter what we do you make it fun.  You drag us into things that I would normally not have the nerve to do.  (Like square dancing in front of the thrift store in town.)  I hope that your day is fun filled and that you don't have to talk to too many people!
